Mission and Approach
The mission of Three Haven Academy is to provide a steady and supportive learning environment where students can master their courses without being rushed. We follow a clear pathway that aligns with Indiana Core 40 standards while giving room for personal growth and nature-based learning. Our approach uses online lessons, field days, at-home study, and in-person evaluations to help students meet the 180-day instructional requirement. We focus on calm structure, accountability, and real progress. Each student receives guidance based on their goals, strengths, and past school history.
Programs Offered
Three Haven Academy accepts several types of students so families can choose the path that fits best. We enroll new students who are starting fresh, transfer students coming from another school, and students who need credit recovery to finish missed courses. We also offer an adult diploma track for learners who want to complete their Core 40 graduation later in life. Returning students may continue in the program without interruption. Each enrollment type follows the same clear standards, placement review, and graduation pathway so every learner moves forward with a stable and consistent plan.
Grade Levels and Curriculum
Three Haven Academy supports students from kindergarten through 12th grade, as well as adults seeking to complete a Core 40 diploma. Early grades focus on building strong foundations in reading, writing, mathematics, and basic science through structured lessons and age-appropriate learning activities. Middle grades continue with steady development in language arts, mathematics, social studies, and science, preparing students for high school coursework. High school students follow a clear academic path that includes English, mathematics, science, social studies, government, economics, and personal finance. All courses are organized to support Indiana graduation requirements. Each student receives a personalized plan based on their placement review and the credits they need to progress toward graduation.
Graduation Requirements
Three Haven Academy follows Indiana’s Core 40 graduation standards. Students must earn a total of 40 credits to receive a diploma. This includes 8 credits in English, 6 credits in math, 6 credits in science, 6 credits in social studies, 2 credits in physical education, 1 credit in health, 5 directed elective credits, and 6 general elective credits. Students also complete the employability skills requirement, a postsecondary-ready competency, and a senior capstone project. Each student receives a graduation pathway plan based on their placement review and their remaining credits.
Enrollment Process
Enrollment at Three Haven Academy follows a clear and steady four-step process. First, the student or family submits the enrollment application with basic information. Second, the previous school records are requested so we can review transcripts and past coursework. Third, the student receives a placement evaluation to determine grade level, credit standing, and any needed support. Finally, once the review is complete, the student receives an official admission summary and a graduation pathway plan. This gives each learner a clear starting point and a straightforward path forward.
Instructional Delivery Options
Three Haven Academy offers several ways for students to complete their learning based on what works best for their situation. Students may study in person, online, or through a hybrid approach that mixes both. Field-based learning is also available for nature study days and hands-on activities. Instructional time may include online lessons, at-home coursework, field experiences, and scheduled in-person evaluations. Every option still follows the same expectations for progress, accountability, and meeting Indiana’s instructional day requirements.
Tuition
Three Haven Academy follows a simple and affordable tuition model for all families. High school students in grades 9 through 12 are billed at 20 dollars per credit. A full year of high school is treated as 10 credits, bringing the full-time yearly tuition to 200 dollars. For students in kindergarten through 8th grade, tuition is based on the same structure. Each full year is counted as 10 instructional units at 20 dollars each, for a total yearly tuition of 200 dollars. This keeps costs steady and predictable for every grade level. All fees directly support staffing, record keeping, student evaluations, and the instructional programs offered through the Academy.
